While the nursing staff is the face of patient care at Forest Hill, all of our departments play a part in the recuperation process. Our dietary, recreation, and social services departments are all committed to helping our patients maintain the highest possible quality of life while they are here.
Our dietary services department engages our patients by providing home cooked meals in a home-like setting. A full daily menu allows for a wide assortment of entrees and sides to satisfy everyone’s desires. Our residents love our weekly special features.
Our recreation staff provides an activity calendar filled with events for all. From seasonal barbecues, to Zumba classes, to holiday parties there is always something happening for everyone.
We also accommodate residents who prefer to spend recreation time alone by providing puzzles, single-player games, and reading materials to keep the mind sharp. Activities are held daily, including nights and weekends. Movies, live entertainment, and sporting event viewings are just some of the activities offered weekly during the evenings.
Our social services department will help arrange transportation, arrange home healthcare, provide progress updates, and facilitate a smooth transition to home so our residents can focus on recuperating and our resident’s representatives can focus on supporting their loved ones.
