Rehabilitation

Forest Hill offers physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies.

Therapists in each of these disciplines provide exercises to enable patients to safely manage on their own. The goal for all of our therapy programs is to restore patients to their previous level of function. Most residents are evaluated within 24 hours of admission and immediately begin their personalized therapy programs. We also offer outpatient therapy so you can continue working with your same therapist even after you are well enough to go home.

Sub-acute rehabilitation programs offer patients physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies as needed for approximately 60 to 90 minutes a day. Sub-acute rehab may also be necessary for those who require long-term IV antibiotics but no longer require an acute hospital level of care.
